Why it works in a showroom

A reason to come in. A reason to stay.

A dealership event is planned around footfall, but it is won on dwell time. A visitor who leaves after ten minutes never reaches a conversation. A visitor who stays an hour usually does, and stays standing next to the cars while they wait.

A racing simulator gives them a reason to walk in and a reason to stay put. The live leaderboard does the rest. A driver who has just been knocked off the top spot comes back across the showroom to check the screen and have another go.

A reason to come in

A full-size racing simulator gives the invitation a headline. It brings in the people who were not planning to look at a car this weekend, which is the hardest group to reach with a finance offer.

A reason to stay

Guests wait for a turn, drive, then wait to see where the leaderboard puts them. That is a visit measured in the hour, not in the ten minutes it takes to walk a forecourt.

An opening line for the team

Nobody has to approach a stranger cold. Your sales team stands beside a visitor who is watching the screens and the first sentence writes itself.

Families are covered

Seats and pedals adjust for drivers from 125cm to 220cm, ages 5 to 99. Children race while parents talk, and we have run a simulator set aside for children before, for Jaguar TCS Racing.

The occasions

Six dates in the dealership calendar

New model launches

The car is the star and the grid is the queue beside it. Wrap the sims to match the launch livery and the whole showroom reads as one piece.

Open weekends

Two days of footfall need something that holds attention on both. The sims run open to close and the leaderboard resets whenever you want a fresh winner.

Test-drive events

Somewhere for the rest of the party to be while one person drives. Nobody sits in reception with a brochure waiting for the keys to come back.

Service department open days

Aftersales dates are the hardest to make attractive. A grid inside the workshop entrance turns a health check into a visit worth making.

VIP and handover evenings

An evening for existing customers needs a centrepiece. Networked head-to-head racing on one live leaderboard gives the room something to do and something to argue about.

Manufacturer roadshows

Follow a manufacturer tour from site to site with the same kit, the same format and the same branding at every stop.

Wrapped in your marque

Looks like a manufacturer asset, not hired kit

Every simulator can be wrapped by professional car wrappers in your colours, panel by panel, with the dealer group logo sitting where a sponsor decal would. On the day, visitors read the grid as part of the brand rather than as something that arrived in a van that morning.

We take it into the game as well. Your livery on the car the guests drive and your boards around the circuit, so the branding is on every screen, in every replay and in every photo of the action.

We have wrapped simulators for Nissan, Jaguar TCS Racing and BP Ultimate.

In the showroom

Two wrapped sims on a Nissan floor

At a Vertu Motors Nissan dealership we built two simulators in full red Nissan livery and stood them on the showroom floor beside the cars. Guests raced through the day and the times went up on a printed leaderboard on the glass, where everyone walking past could read them.

That is the pattern most dealership bookings follow. Two sims, wrapped to the marque, in the corner of the showroom, with our crew running the sessions from open to close.

Showroom practicalities

It fits where a car will not

It fits the corner

Each simulator is roughly 1.61m by 0.6m and 1.42m tall. Two stand in a showroom corner or a spare bay without moving a car off the floor.

One 13A socket per sim

Standard wall power, under 1kW each. No generator, no three-phase supply and no electrician on the day.

Built before you open

Setup takes about two hours. We build ahead of opening and break down after the last visitor has gone, so trading hours are never the build.

Vehicle access planned in

Our delivery vehicle is 6.9m long. Tell us about the service road, the door widths and the loading point and we plan the route before the day.

Our crew runs it

We do not drop the kit and leave. Our crew delivers, builds, briefs your visitors, runs every session and packs down, so your sales team stays on the floor selling.

Delivery included

Delivery is included within 100 miles of Silverstone and £1.50 a mile beyond, which covers most dealer networks across the Midlands and the South as standard.

Dealer groups

One activation, every site

A group does not want a different event at every dealership. It wants the same one, repeated, so the marketing lands the same way in Northampton as it does in Leeds and the reporting compares like with like.

We tour the grid across a network, week by week or site by site, and hold your branding between dates so nothing is printed twice.

How a group booking runs

  • The same grid, the same race format and the same crew at every site in the group
  • Base branding panels come off and refit, so one set of artwork covers the whole run
  • Additional days are 25% off, which is where a run of consecutive sites pays back
  • One booking, one point of contact and one quote covering every date
Plan a multi-site run

Never drop-and-go

The crew comes with it

We do not drop the kit and leave. Our professionals deliver, build, welcome your guests, run the racing and pack down at the end.

Quick answers

Asked by dealership marketing teams

How much showroom space does a simulator need?

Each simulator has a footprint of roughly 1.61m by 0.6m and stands about 1.42m tall, so two fit in a showroom corner or a spare display bay. Allow a little room beside them for the queue and the screens. Send a floor plan or a photo of the space with your enquiry and we will mark up where the grid goes.

Can the simulators be branded to our marque?

Yes. Seat-back decals are £42 per sim, base branding £195 and a full vinyl wrap £450, all fitted by professional car wrappers. We can also put your livery on the car in the game for £200 and your boards around the circuit for £350. We have wrapped simulators for Nissan, Jaguar TCS Racing and BP Ultimate.

Can we run the same event across several sites in our group?

Yes. We tour the same grid from site to site, and base branding panels are made to come off and refit, so one set of artwork covers every showroom. Additional days are 25% off. Send us the sites and the dates and we will quote the whole run as one booking.

Do we need to provide staff to run it?

No. Our crew delivers, builds, welcomes your visitors, runs the racing and packs down at the end. We do not drop the kit and leave, so nobody from your sales or aftersales team has to stand with the simulators instead of talking to customers.
