Pricing and booking
How much do the simulators cost?
F1-style sims start at £790 + VAT a day, with delivery, team and the Top Gear style live leaderboard included.
What’s included in the cost?
Transport, our team for your whole event, 8 hours on site and the live leaderboard are all included.
What are your payment terms?
A 50% deposit confirms your booking, with the remaining 50% due two weeks before your event. If your event’s within 30 days, we ask for full payment to confirm. You can pay by bank transfer, or by credit or debit card via a payment link.
The simulators up close
How many simulators do you have?
We have 16 F1-style simulators and 2 GT simulators ready to go. If you need more, we can source and manage additional sims.
What size are the simulators?
The F1-style simulator dimensions are: length 1.61m, width 0.6m (0.72m including the screen), height 1.42m. The GT and rally simulator dimensions are: length 1.61m, width 0.7m (0.93m including the screen), height 1.45m. We’d also allow at least 0.5m either side of each sim for easy access.
What platform do the simulators run on?
We can run a wide range of titles. The most popular are F1 25 and Gran Turismo 7, and we can also run DiRT Rally 2.0, GRID, Assetto Corsa Competizione and rFactor 2.
Can the simulators be branded with our company logo?
Yes, we have several branding packages starting at £42 + VAT. We can brand the back of the seat, the base of the simulator and the live leaderboard, and there are in-game branding options too.
Is there a minimum and maximum height for participants?
Seats and pedals adjust for drivers from 125cm tall, ages 8 to 88. Our team sets the rig for each driver before they start.
Space, power and access
How much space do we need for a simulator?
Allow about 1m wide by 2m long per simulator, so guests have room to get in and out.
What are the power requirements?
One standard 13A socket runs up to two simulators, drawing no more than 1kW each. A six simulator set-up needs just three sockets, and a normal venue supply handles it.
Do I need to provide internet?
You’ll need internet if you want guests racing head-to-head. If you’d prefer a time trial format, no WiFi is needed. Any questions about your venue, drop us a message.
What access requirements do you have?
Four things to check with your venue:
- Doorways: our flight-cased simulators are 0.7m wide by 1.6m long by 1.2m high (or 0.7m wide by 1.75m high by 1.2m long going upright), so every doorway on the route in needs to take those dimensions.
- Lifts: if your event isn’t on the ground floor, we’ll need an appropriately sized lift.
- Parking: space near the venue for our delivery vehicle (6.9m long, 2.2m wide, 3.2m tall) with no height restrictions.
- Manual handling: where 1 or 2 simulators are hired, we’ll ask you to provide someone trained in manual handling to help load and unload the van.
How far do you travel?
We cover the whole of the UK from our base at Silverstone. Delivery within 100 miles of Silverstone is included in every price you see, and beyond that it’s £1.50 per mile.
Race day
How long does it take to set up the simulators?
We normally allow 2 hours for setup, though more simulators can take a little longer.
Do your simulators come with someone to operate them?
Yes. Every hire includes a member of our team to set up and run the simulators for the whole of your event.
What format will you run the simulators in?
We can run several formats, depending on what suits your event. There’s a time trial format where each simulator runs individually against the leaderboard and guests compete for the fastest lap. There’s head-to-head racing, where all the simulators are linked and guests race on track at the same time, with practice, heats and finals in a knockout competition. And there’s a hybrid: time trials through the day, then a linked race at the end for whoever’s topping the leaderboard.
