Why it works at a wedding

The bit of the night everyone talks about

The dance floor takes care of half your guests. The simulators take care of the other half. Two sims in the corner of the room turn the quiet hour after dinner into the part of the evening people photograph.

For the guests who do not dance

Every wedding has them. The uncles at the bar, the friends who came to talk, the ones waiting for the buffet. The sims give them somewhere to go and something to win.

Teenagers and grandparents alike

Seats and pedals adjust for drivers from 125cm to 220cm, ages 5 to 99. Your nephew and your nan can set a lap on the same car, and one of them will not stop talking about it.

A talking point that photographs well

Full-size single-seaters look the part in a marquee or a function room. Guests queue beside them, film each other racing and your photographer gets shots nobody else has.

Formats

Three ways to run the racing

Bride vs groom grand prix

Two sims, same circuit, lights out together. Both sides of the wedding party pick a driver and the room takes sides. Ten minutes of racing that people bring up for years.

Family knockout

Head-to-head heats through the evening, winners going through, a final before the last dance. Our crew runs the bracket and reads out the results so nobody has to organise anything.

Hotlap leaderboard all evening

One flying lap each, fastest time on the live leaderboard. Guests drift over between courses and speeches, drivers rotate quickly and the top spot changes hands all night.

You do not have to choose now. Tell us your running order and our crew will pick the format that fits around the speeches, the cake and the first dance.

Quick answers

Wedding questions

Can guests race in formal wear and heels?

Yes. Drivers sit down into a fixed racing seat rather than climbing over anything, so suits and dresses are fine. Most guests slip their heels off for the pedals and put them straight back on. Our crew helps every driver in and out.

How late can you stay, and is there a surcharge?

Weddings run late and we plan for it. Standard hire covers 8 hours of event time. A finish after 10pm carries a £300 late finish surcharge, and hours beyond the standard day are charged at 10% extra per hour. Tell us your timings and it will all be itemised in your quote, with no surprises on the night.

How much space do we need in a marquee or function room?

Each simulator is roughly 1.61m long, 0.6m wide and 1.42m tall, plus room for the driver to get in and a couple of people to stand and watch. Two sims sit comfortably along one wall of most function rooms. Setup takes around 2 hours, so we build before your guests arrive.

Do you need mains power?

One standard 13A socket per simulator, drawing no more than 1kW each. Nothing special, and no trip risk for your venue. Most function rooms and marquees already have what we need. Send us a rough layout and we will plan the grid around the sockets.
