Milton Keynes
Twenty miles down the road
Milton Keynes sits about 20 miles from our base at the Silverstone Innovation Centre. That is roughly 30 minutes on the A5 or the A421. It makes Milton Keynes one of the closest towns we serve and one of the simplest events we run.
Delivery is included. Every price on our list covers delivery within 100 miles of Silverstone, and Milton Keynes is well inside that line. There is no travel surcharge and no mileage to add. The £1.50 per mile that applies beyond 100 miles never comes into it, and the £300 London surcharge does not apply here either. The number on the price list is the number you pay, plus VAT.
Milton Keynes is a business town first. It carries a large office population, a cluster of motorsport and automotive engineering firms, and a steady corporate hospitality calendar. That shapes what we get asked for. Away days, staff parties, client hospitality, summer socials and Christmas parties make up most of our work here. Agencies book us for launches and exhibitions in the town too, usually with the sims wrapped in a client’s colours.
The venues follow the same pattern. Hotel function rooms and conference suites take a grid comfortably. Business park offices work well for away days, because we can build in an atrium or a breakout space and let staff race between sessions. Stadium and arena hospitality suites suit larger guest lists. Country houses around the edge of the town handle weddings and private parties. The grid road layout helps more than people expect. Most venues here were built with their own car parks and level access, so load-in is straightforward rather than a city centre kerbside fight.
Being this close changes what we can offer in practice. Setup takes around two hours. Because the drive is half an hour, we can arrive early in the morning or late in the evening to fit your venue access window rather than our travel time. Milton Keynes venues often hand over a room the night before or first thing on the day, and both work for us. It also means short notice is realistic. Same-week enquiries are far easier to place here than on a job three hours up the motorway, so it is worth asking even when your date is close.
The full fleet is 18 simulators, 16 F1 and 2 GT, plus Batak reaction boards. They all network together on one live leaderboard, so a Milton Keynes event can run anything from a single sim in a reception area to a 16-car grid racing head to head. Everything arrives with a crew. We do not drop the kit and leave. Our team delivers, builds, welcomes your guests, runs the racing and packs down at the end. Send your date and guest numbers and you will have an itemised quote within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
