Simulator Space & Power
Every number your venue will ask for, in one place: the footprint, power, floor and setup time for our F1-style and GT simulators.
At a glance
What each simulator needs
| Measurement | F1-style simulator | GT simulator |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 1.61m | 1.61m |
| Width | 0.6m, or 0.72m with the screen | 0.7m, or 0.93m with the screen |
| Height | 1.42m | 1.45m |
| Space around each sim | At least 0.5m either side, so drivers can climb in and out easily | |
| Power | One standard 13A socket runs two sims, and each sim draws under 1kW | |
| Floor | A dry, level surface, indoors or under cover | |
| Internet | Needed for head-to-head racing, while hotlaps run without it | |
| Setup | Around two hours before your guests arrive, with breakdown after the event | |
| Delivery vehicle | 6.9m long, so tell us where it can unload | |
Before you book the room
Four things to ask your venue
Access times
Ask when we can get into the room and when everything has to be out. Setup takes around two hours, so that needs to fit inside the get-in.
The route in
Door widths, lifts and stairs all matter, and so does how far the kit travels from where our 6.9m vehicle unloads. A room upstairs with no lift is a different job from a ground floor suite.
Sockets
Find out how many 13A sockets the room has and whether they’re on separate circuits. One socket runs two sims, so a line-up of six needs three.
Floor and sightlines
You need room for the sims and room for a crowd to gather and watch. Pillars and low sections matter more than the total floor area.
Floor plans
Send us the room
If you have a floor plan or a few photos of the space, send them with your enquiry. We’ll confirm the layout that fits, how many sockets it needs and the best route in, and it all goes into your itemised quote within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
