Coventry’s been building cars for more than a century, and the place still runs on engineering. Jaguar Land Rover is headquartered at Whitley, Ansty Park holds the Manufacturing Technology Centre and the UK Battery Industrialisation Centre, and WMG sits on the University of Warwick campus at the southern edge of the city. The bookings follow the industry: supplier days, open days and recruitment stands for the engineering firms, and launches for dealer groups and automotive marketing teams, usually with the sims wrapped in their own colours and the car dropped into the game. We’re 50 minutes up the A45, so an early venue access window doesn’t need an overnight, and a date that’s only a few weeks out is still worth an ask.
Plenty of Coventry events mix the kit. Six F1-style sims racing the same circuit on one live leaderboard, a Batak board at the edge of the stand and seat-back branding across the lot is a common brief here. Coombe Abbey on the eastern edge of the city takes awards dinners and private hospitality in a completely different setting, while Warwick Conferences at the University of Warwick handles conference work at scale.

How far is Coventry from your base, and does delivery cost extra?
It’s about 35 miles from the Silverstone Innovation Centre, NN12 8GX, and the run goes north on the A5 then west on the A45 through Daventry and Dunchurch, roughly 50 minutes on a clear morning. That’s around a third of the 100 miles of delivery included in every price, so there’s no travel charge on a Coventry quote, and our £300 city-centre surcharge doesn’t apply here either.
Can you set up inside an exhibition hall like the Coventry Building Society Arena?
Yes, and halls like that are the easiest work we get. Level access, goods doors and parking on the same site mean a clean load-in, and setup takes around two hours. Each simulator needs about 1.61m by 0.6m of floor and draws no more than 1kW, with one 13A socket running two sims, so six sims draw less than a coffee station. On exhibition stands, quick timed laps on rotation work well, with the 43in digital leaderboard at £100 a day so times are readable across the hall.
