The EICC
The Cromdale Hall is conference season’s home ground, and it’s large enough to hold a racing line-up alongside an exhibition floor without either getting in the way of the other.

Edinburgh is about 350 miles from our Silverstone base, roughly 5 hours 30 by road. The first 100 miles are included, and the remaining 250 miles are charged at £1.50 a mile. That's £375 for the whole booking, however many simulators you take.
At this distance we'll usually travel up the day before, so we're set up and race-ready in good time. If that means a hotel, it's added at cost and confirmed on your quote.
Everything else stays the same: team, live leaderboard and 8 hours on site, setup included.
Local knowledge
Edinburgh is one of the UK’s largest financial centres outside London, and the asset managers, insurers, banks and fintech firms clustered here all face the same two problems: client entertaining that has to feel considered rather than corporate, and staff events for teams who spend the year looking at screens. A racing line-up answers both. It’s competitive without being physical, it works in a suit, and it gives a room something to do together that isn’t another quiz.
The diary decides the rest. Conference season fills the EICC from spring through autumn, and the university pulls data, informatics and AI conferences into town. Then there’s August: the Fringe takes over most of the month, streets close, and getting a long vehicle to an Old Town door at four in the afternoon is close to impossible, so it’s worth talking early and picking the venue with the loading route in mind.
Edinburgh sits at the far end of our delivery map, and we plan it as the long run it is: timings built backwards from your doors opening, the venue postcode sorted early because the city centre low emission zone runs around the clock, and the room itself usually the easy part. The rest of the map is on our where we deliver page.

The Cromdale Hall is conference season’s home ground, and it’s large enough to hold a racing line-up alongside an exhibition floor without either getting in the way of the other.
It takes the big trade and exhibition work, with the access and ceiling height to match, and it’s far easier for an August build than anywhere in the centre of town.
The Assembly Rooms on George Street for awards dinners, Dynamic Earth under the Salisbury Crags for gala evenings, the National Museum of Scotland for the nights people still talk about in March, and Murrayfield’s hospitality suites right through the year.
Far more usable function space per square mile than the narrow streets suggest. A standard breakout room takes two or three sims; tell us about lifts and loading and we’ll plan around them.

The line-up

Full-size single-seaters guests queue for instead of drifting to the bar. Up to 16 race together on one live leaderboard. From £790 a day.

Batak hire →
Put a fund, a sponsor or a product on the line-up. Branding starts at £42 for seat backs and runs to full wraps, in-game liveries and custom tracks. All the prices are on our branding page.

Local questions
Yes, but book it early and pick the venue with the loading in mind. The Fringe takes over most of August and the city centre becomes a genuinely difficult place to move a 6.9m vehicle around. Streets close, parking disappears and the roads near the busiest venues stay solid from mid-morning until late. None of that stops us; it just means we agree an access window and a build time well in advance, and we’ll say so if a particular Old Town address is going to fight us. Venues out at Ingliston or on the west side of the city are far easier in August.
Delivery’s included within 100 miles of Silverstone. Edinburgh is roughly 350 miles away, so mileage applies at £1.50 for every mile past the first 100, around 250 chargeable miles calculated on the real route to your postcode. If the setup slot is early, the team travels up the day before and the hotel is charged at cost. Both lines sit on the itemised quote you’ll get within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, and the day rate itself doesn’t change because you’re in Scotland. Travel’s also charged once per event, not per simulator, so it stays the same however many sims you book.
More than most planners expect. Each simulator takes roughly 1.61m by 0.6m of floor and stands 1.42m tall, so a standard breakout room holds two or three and a hall like the Cromdale at the EICC or a Royal Highland Centre space holds a full line-up. Each one draws under 1kW, and one 13A socket runs two of them. Setup is around two hours. Seats and pedals adjust for drivers from 125cm tall, ages 8 to 88. Send us the room dimensions and the socket positions and we’ll tell you what fits.
