Liverpool is about 155 miles from our Silverstone base, roughly 2 hours 45 by road. The first 100 miles are included, and the remaining 55 miles are charged at £1.50 a mile. That's £83 for the whole booking, however many simulators you take.

Everything else stays the same: team, live leaderboard and 8 hours on site, setup included.

Liverpool and Merseyside

A working city with a guest list

Liverpool’s a port city that has spent two decades adding to that rather than replacing it. Maritime and logistics work still runs through the docks and the Freeport, the Knowledge Quarter carries two universities, a major teaching hospital and a growing life sciences and digital cluster, and the visitor economy is one of the biggest outside London. Better still for an event planner, the city kept its industrial buildings and turned them into venues rather than clearing them.

That mix shows up in what we get asked for. Conference organisers want something on the exhibition floor that holds a crowd between sessions rather than emptying it. Life sciences and tech employers book us for staff parties and graduate recruitment, because a live leaderboard does more for a room than a drinks table. Agencies want the simulators wrapped, and wedding parties at the dock hotels usually take one or two sims for the evening reception.

A Liverpool event can be a single sim in an office reception or 16 cars racing head to head in an exhibition hall, with Batak reaction boards alongside and everything networked onto one live leaderboard. We’ve been doing this since 2018. Liverpool’s one of a number of cities we cover from Silverstone; the full list is on our simulator hire locations page.

Row of white racing simulators set up along the side of a hotel event space

The waterfront campus

ACC Liverpool, Exhibition Centre Liverpool and the M&S Bank Arena sit together on the dock. The halls swallow our biggest set-ups without anyone worrying about floor space, and the loading access was designed for vehicles our size.

Stanley Dock and the northern docks

The Titanic Hotel and the Rum Warehouse run awards dinners, gala nights and weddings at real scale. With high ceilings, hard floors and a sensible route in for flight cases, a row of simulators looks completely at home against that brickwork.

The Baltic Triangle

Converted warehouses such as Camp and Furnace suit launches, brand events and Christmas parties for the city’s creative and digital firms. Blank canvas rooms where wrapped simulators and an in-game livery do most of the design work for you.

Stadiums, racecourse and civic rooms

Hospitality suites at Anfield, the function rooms at Aintree Racecourse and the grand civic spaces in the centre. Long guest lists suit quick timed laps on rotation, with the 43in digital leaderboard keeping times readable from the far side of the room.

Local questions

Asked around Liverpool

What does delivery to Liverpool actually cost?

Liverpool’s roughly 155 miles from our Silverstone base. Every price includes delivery within 100 miles, so about 55 miles of the journey are charged at £1.50 per mile. We work the figure from your venue postcode and put it on the quote as its own line, so you’ll see it before you commit to anything. And since the journey costs the same whether we bring two simulators or twelve, the travel cost per sim drops sharply on a bigger booking.

Will your team need to stay overnight in Liverpool?

Sometimes, and we’ll say so in the quote. The drive is around three hours and setup takes about two, so if your venue wants the room finished for an early morning start, or only hands the space over the night before, an overnight is the sensible answer. Hotels are charged at cost. Plenty of Liverpool events don’t need one at all.

Can you fit all 16 simulators into a Liverpool exhibition hall?

Yes. Up to 16 F1-style simulators network onto one live leaderboard, and the exhibition halls on the waterfront have the floor and the access for it. Each simulator takes about 1.61m by 0.6m of floor and draws under 1kW, with one 13A socket running up to two sims. Our delivery vehicle is 6.9m long and setup takes around two hours. Tell us the hall and the stand number and we’ll plan the load-in around your build schedule.
