Local knowledge
Peterborough makes things and moves things. Perkins has built diesel engines here since 1932 and still runs its headquarters and R&D centre in the city, Anglian Water keeps its engineering base at Lynch Wood, and Lidl built its largest UK distribution centre here because the A1 and the A47 cross on the doorstep, with food and drink manufacturing and advanced engineering all around them.
Those employers don’t book the same events a city of offices does. Peterborough enquiries are staff recognition days on a manufacturing site, long service celebrations, family fun days, dealer open days and Christmas parties for teams who work a rota rather than a nine to five. Racing simulators fit that brief neatly: engineers take a lap time personally, and a warehouse team won’t let a supervisor top the board unchallenged.
For a shift-pattern site we run a fastest-lap leaderboard continuously, so day shift, back shift and everyone in between gets a lap and the same board to argue about. And at 55 miles we can be on site at six for a nine o’clock start, or build late afternoon once an exhibition build-up has cleared, so short-notice dates are always worth asking about. The East of England Arena on the old showground, with around 9,000 square metres indoors and 250 acres outside for trade shows and large conferences. A line-up of sims on a stand pulls a queue and keeps visitors in your space long enough to talk.
KingsGate’s 1,700 seat auditorium and atrium suit conferences, with delegates racing during breaks instead of standing in a corridor. The lounges and suites at the Weston Homes Stadium take dinners, awards nights and corporate days.

No. Peterborough is roughly 55 miles from our base at the Silverstone Innovation Centre, well inside the 100 miles of delivery included in every price, so there’s no travel line on your quote. The drive is short enough that no overnight is needed either, and our £300 city-centre surcharge doesn’t apply here.
Yes, and it’s one of the things we’re asked for most around Peterborough. The fastest-lap leaderboard runs continuously, so day shift, back shift and everyone in between gets a lap and the same live board to argue about. A standard booking covers 8 hours on site with the two hour setup inside that; extended hours are 10% per hour and a finish after 10pm adds £300. Tell us your shift times and we’ll price the day around them rather than around ours.
Very little: each simulator takes about 1.61m by 0.6m of floor, stands 1.42m tall and draws under 1kW, with one 13A socket running up to two sims. Setup takes around two hours, so we build before the hall opens, and our 6.9m delivery vehicle needs a sensible route to your stand during build-up.
