Local knowledge
Reading anchors one of the largest clusters of digital businesses in the country outside London. Microsoft has run its UK headquarters from Thames Valley Park for decades, Oracle and Cisco sit in the same corridor, and Green Park keeps adding office space south of the M4. That shapes the briefs: product launches, partner days, sales kick-offs, graduate recruitment stands and Christmas parties for teams who’ve spent the year on video calls.
The common thread is throughput and photography. A lot of people need a turn inside a fixed window, and the result needs to look like your brand rather than a hired arcade. So most Reading bookings arrive with artwork attached: seat decals start at £42, and everything up to a full wrap and your own in-game circuit is priced on our branded simulator hire page.
The Thames Valley often gets quoted at London rates by suppliers driving out of the capital. We come the other way, down the A34, so we charge Reading prices rather than London ones. We don’t have a Reading office or depot, though. Every simulator and team member starts the day at Silverstone, just over an hour up the road, which still leaves time to build and test a full line-up before an office floor fills up.

De Vere Wokefield Estate, ten minutes from junction 11 of the M4, suits multi-day conferences where the sims stay built overnight. Hotels off the A33 and the motorway junctions cover the rest.
Reading Town Hall on Blagrave Street for award dinners in a Victorian concert hall, and The Mill at Sonning for intimate client hospitality. The town centre’s one-way system means our 6.9m vehicle needs a planned unloading point, so tell us the venue early.
Rivermead Leisure Complex takes the bigger exhibition and trade fair work, with hall space running into the thousands standing, while the campuses at Thames Valley Park and Green Park run family days and away days in atriums and staff restaurants.
We work across the wider Thames Valley too: Bracknell, Wokingham, Newbury, Basingstoke, Slough and Maidenhead are all covered, and the full spread is on our simulator hire locations page.

Local questions
No. Reading is about 55 miles from Silverstone and delivery is included within 100 miles, so there’s no travel line on a Reading quote. The Thames Valley often gets priced as if it were London by suppliers coming out of the capital; our £300 surcharge only covers the extra parking, staffing and congestion costs of city-centre venues in London, Manchester and Birmingham, so it doesn’t apply here.
Regularly, and it’s one of the easier builds we do. Each simulator needs roughly 1.61m by 0.6m of floor, stands 1.42m tall and draws under 1kW, with one 13A socket running up to two sims, so a normal office ring main copes with a small line-up. Setup takes around two hours. The things to check are the goods lift, the door widths and whether our 6.9m vehicle can reach a loading point. Tell us the floor and we’ll work out the rest before the day.
Subsequent days are discounted 25% from the day rate, and the kit stays built overnight if the venue is secure, so day two costs less and starts faster. The same team runs both days. If the second day finishes after 10pm there’s a £300 late finish charge, and hours beyond a standard event day add 10% per hour. It’s all itemised on the quote, which you’ll have within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
