Sheffield is about 105 miles from our Silverstone base, roughly 2 hours by road. The first 100 miles are included, and the remaining 5 miles are charged at £1.50 a mile. That's £8 for the whole booking, however many simulators you take.
Everything else stays the same: team, live leaderboard and 8 hours on site, setup included.

An engineering city that gets the point
Sheffield reads a racing simulator differently from most cities. Manufacturing here moved into precision work rather than disappearing: the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre grew out of a partnership between the University of Sheffield and Boeing, and the Advanced Manufacturing Park along the Sheffield to Rotherham corridor carries Rolls-Royce, McLaren Automotive and BAE Systems. Put a full-size single-seater cockpit in front of that audience and by the third round somebody’s started a spreadsheet.
The bookings tilt the same way. Engineering firms and their supply chains book us for family days, long service celebrations and open days, the universities for recruitment and graduate events, and professional services in the centre take one or two sims for client evenings, with a steady run of Christmas parties and awards nights on top.
Everything drives up from Silverstone, one motorway almost door to door, and the same trip covers Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley and Chesterfield, so events out of the city are no harder to arrange than events in it. Kelham Island Museum

How far is Sheffield from your base, and is delivery included?
Sheffield is about 105 miles from the Silverstone Innovation Centre, roughly two hours up the M1. Delivery’s included within 100 miles, and Sheffield falls a short way outside that radius. The miles beyond 100 are charged at £1.50 each, worked out from your venue postcode and shown as their own line on the quote. For most Sheffield postcodes it’s a small figure.
Can you get simulators into an older city centre building?
Usually, but tell us about the access when you enquire. Sheffield’s hilly, and some of its good Victorian and Georgian venues come with steps, narrow lanes or a lift that won’t take a flight case. Each simulator needs about 1.61m by 0.6m of floor and stands 1.42m tall, and our delivery vehicle is 6.9m long. Knowing about stairs in advance lets us set the right team size and schedule before we quote.
Do you cover Rotherham, Doncaster and the rest of South Yorkshire?
Yes. The same journey up the M1 serves Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley and Chesterfield, and the Advanced Manufacturing Park sits right off the motorway between Sheffield and Rotherham. Mileage is worked out from your actual venue postcode rather than a city centre marker, so the travel line on your quote reflects where the event really is.
